Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter. This heroic alliance first joined forces to battle a starfish like alien, Starro the
Conqueror, in the 1960 comic, Brave and Bold #28. A few years later in Justice League of America #9, DC Comics revealed the origins of the seven-member
team, who united together to defeat the Appellaxians, an army of aliens who threatened the destruction of Earth.
