Snow White Artwork: A Smile and A Song - Courvoisier Miniature

Each Courvoisier Miniature® is created by master artists. Each cel is hand inked and painted from the original animation drawing used in the making of Snow White. A total of 17 ink colors and 14 paint colors, milled and matched to the original Disney formulas, is used for each cel. Snow White's hair is dry brushed and her cheeks touched with blush, exactly as they were in 1937. The background is designed and prepared in the original Courvoisier technique.

Each cel features a miniature animation punch. The punch and edition number are below the mat line. The number also appears on the reverse of the framed art and the Certificate of Authenticity. Each cel is enclosed in the same ArtCare© framing material used in the Library of Congress and backed with DuPont Tyvek® instead of paper. Each mat is hand lettered and finished in the traditional Courvoisier style with the "Original WDP" seal in gold ink. Courvoisier Studio Replica© are framed to the highest framing standards recognized by the Professional Picture Framers Association.
