More Information: Inspired from the original Disney film, "Sleeping Beauty". The scene is towards the end of the film when the sorceress Maleficent has put Sleeping Beauty into the tallest tower of her castle. Our Hero, Prince Phillip, is attempting to rescue her with "Loves True Kiss" and break the sleeping spell she is under. In an all out effort to stop him, Maleficent turns herself into a towering dragon. The Lucite case takes the form of the dragon, while Maleficent is embedded inside the piece in her transforming state.

Legends® fine art sculptures are created using the unique mixed-media process, which combines precious and simi-precious components, including 24 karat gold vermeil, lost wax bronze, fine pewter, Lucite, brass, gold, rose copper vermeils, and a bright array of hot-torched patinas. Legends® continues to bring creative new designs to collectible and fine art galleries. Mixed Media combined with Lucite adds another dimension of rich color and texture.
