More Information: “Call Waiting” by Tom Everhart is a fine art lithograph printed in 2000. The edition size is limited to 500 plus 50 artist proofs and 5 personally dedicated proofs. Each sheet measures 30” x 22.” The image size is the same. The image was originally created by Tom Everhart as a painting on paper. Tom Everhart then collaborated with the chromist Jean Pierre Remond who, referring to the maquette, drew by hand the 12 separate plates from which this edition was pulled. One plate was drawn for each of the 12 colors. Proofs were approved by Everhart, after which the edition was pulled, one color at a time on an antique French Maronini Voirin flat bed press. The plates used to create this edition were destroyed after the edition was pulled. The edition is numbered 1/500 to 500/500; Artist Proofs are numbered AP 1/50 to 50/50. The S2 chop mark appears in the lower left-hand corner of each example. The artist, Tom Everhart, personally signed all examples in pen in the lower right-hand corner. There are no other examples in the edition except as described above. |
