More Information: Hook Discovered Walt Disney Peter Pan Limited Edition 395 Giclee on Canvas 24'' x 36'' canvas "As an artist, I love to tell stories through my work. A painting can stop time, take us to an exciting new place, and enrich our senses with adventure and beauty. Such is the case in this painting, "Hook Discovered." In this work, Neverland is bathed in a warm glow as the sun slips peacefully into the mirrored sea. Peter Pan and Wendy, out for an adventure come upon the silhouette of Captain Hook, His first mate Smee, and the lovely princess Tiger Lily. As rainbows of pixie-dust shower down, Tinker bell darts past Peter and Wendy to take a look. The sparkling light of the afternoon sun dances playfully on the crystal water, Peter points toward Hook and his crew and Wendy looks on with amuzement, Hook has been discovered." - James Coleman

A giclee (pronounced zhee-CLAY) is an individually produced, limited edition, high quality reproduction done on a special large format printer. Images are generated from high-resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks. Giclee prints can be printed on a number of different media – watercolors can be reproduced on watercolor paper, for instance, and can be so color-true that they are virtually indistinguishable from the original. Oil paintings can be reproduced on canvas. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than any other means of reproduction. The colors are brighter, last longer, and are so high-resolution that they are virtually continuous in tone, rather than tiny dots.
