More Information: “Bora Bora Boogie Oogie” by Tom Everhart is a fine art lithograph printed in 2003 under the supervision of master printer Raymond Mazza and senior presswoman Jennifer Ryan. The edition size is limited to 500 plus 50 artist proofs. The edition was printed on Rives BFK paper. Each sheet measures 22-1/2” x 30”, which is the same size as the image. The image was originally created by Tom Everhart as an acrylic on paper. Tom Everhart collaborated with the chromist Jean Pierre Remond who, referring to the maquette, drew by hand 5 mylars. Tom Everhart drew 3 additional mylars by hand. Some of the mylars were combined and one plate was prepared for each of the 5 colors from which this edition was pulled. Proofs were approved by Everhart, after which the edition was pulled, one color at a time on an antique Marinoni Voirin flat bed press. The plates used to create this edition were destroyed after the edition was pulled. The edition is numbered 1/500 to 500/500; 50 Artist Proofs numbered AP 1/50 to AP 50/50. The S2 chop mark appears in the lower left-hand corner of each example. The artist, Tom Everhart, personally signed all examples in pen in the lower right-hand corner. There are no other examples in the edition except as described above. Order the full series of three for $6075 unframed! |
