The image was created by Warner Bros. artists Vince Musacchia, who did the original drawing. Dennis Durrell rendered the painting. Both artists hand-signed the edition. * Scooby-Doo first aired on CBS in 1969, and is still in production today. It is one of television’s longest-running animated series. * Though prominent in the show, Scooby-Doo was originally intended to be an incidental character. * The show title, “Scooby-Doo” comes from the line in Frank Sinatra’s version of Strangers in the Night, where he sings, ‘Scooby-doobie-doo…’
