More Information: In the 1949 film Fast and Furry-ous, the chase between Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner began. The pursuit continued in a series of animated films, as Wile E. Coyote invented all sorts of devices to snare his always elusive prey. With this sericel (whose images are taken directly from the 1948 model sheet), Chuck Jones gives direction to his animators, illustrating the menacing looks and the torturous stances of Wile E. as he tries to wreak havoc on the Road Runner, whose feather remain unruffled.
