 | More Information: “Pepe Le Pew Character Study” is normally available only at special events. Limited quantities available. Created by Chuck Jones in 1945, Pepe debuted in the Odor-Able Kitty. In this cartoon, Pepe’s first object of adoration was, in fact, a male cat. Although Pepe’s original name was Henry, and was also not particularly well-liked by Jones, the skunk’s debonair, yet goofy personality immediately won over many animation fans. Pepe now remains one of the most recognized characters in classic animation. The original image of Pepe used in this character study is taken from the Warner Bros. archives. A character study is created as a way for directors and animators to explore the character’s personality. The original image was reproduced utilizing the fine art Giclee process. The accompanied cel is hand-painted and stamped with the Clampett Studio Collections seal of Authenticity. |
