This original painting by Peter Ellenshaw dates from 1966, known to be a very productive period in Ellenshaw's career. During that time he lived and painted on the Pacific Coast in Malibu Beach in a studio provided by Walt Disney. His reputation as one of the world's premier seascape artists had grown from many days spent exploring the beaches and coves of the Pacific Coast. The piece is in its ORIGINAL FRAME. It is in immaculate condition and bears Ellenshaw's copyright stamp on the back of the canvas. Also contains "Hammers Galleries" stamp, the gallery where the work was originally sold in 1966.
