Brand new release from Rodel Gonzalez "Together" for the Disney film Chimpanzee.
"The unusual bond between Oscar and Freddie was the central inspiration for me in creating this painting, however, I also wanted to present the vast beauty of the forest environment, especially the incredible waterfall that was featured in the story. I painted this original piece in about 7-8 layers, giving each layer a progressively warmer tone as we move into the foreground, which I hoped would help the work convey not only the immense depth and complexity of Oscar and Freddie's relationship, but also of the incredible jungle around them."
